1. Nature of the service and role

I, Thomas, provide advice and consultation related to cars, such as expert assistance with choosing, buying and selling a vehicle.

I do not act as the seller, broker or party to the vehicle transaction.

At the customer’s request, I may assist with price negotiations, but I do not act as a legally binding representative, I do not make decisions on behalf of the customer and I do not bind the customer to agreements.

The final responsibility for decisions and agreements always lies with the customer.

The service is informative and evaluative in nature and does not constitute a guarantee or binding promise regarding the vehicle’s condition, functionality or commercial outcome.

2. No purchase recommendations

I do not provide binding or legally obligating purchase recommendations.

During the consultation, I may present my personal opinion and assessment of the vehicle, also based on a test drive or an on-site inspection.

The opinions and assessments presented:

• are based on the information and observations available at the time of assessment
• do not constitute a guarantee of the vehicle’s condition, functionality or future development
• do not transfer responsibility for the vehicle purchase decision to me

The final decision to buy or sell a vehicle is always the customer’s own.

3. Customer’s responsibility

The customer is always responsible for:

• the final purchase or sales decision
• checking the vehicle’s condition, history and documents
• using an inspection, condition check or another expert when necessary

My advice does not replace a professional technical inspection, workshop diagnosis or official vehicle inspection.

4. Remote consultation

In a remote consultation, the advice is based solely on:

• information and materials provided by the customer
• digital sources and publicly available information

A remote consultation does not include physical inspection of the vehicle, a test drive or technical on-site assessment unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

5. Test drive and on-site services

If the service includes a test drive or on-site review of the vehicle, it is a general assessment, not a technical condition inspection. A test drive or on-site assessment:

• does not rule out hidden faults or faults that may appear later
• does not constitute a guarantee of the vehicle’s condition or safety
• does not transfer responsibility for the vehicle’s technical condition to me

The vehicle’s owner or seller is always responsible for the condition and legality of the vehicle.

Any price negotiation takes place with the customer’s consent and at the customer’s responsibility, and does not constitute a binding promise, guarantee or obligation for the service provider.

6. Limitation of liability

I am not responsible for:

• faults that appear in the vehicle after purchase
• hidden or unforeseen technical problems
• incorrect information provided by third parties (sellers, dealerships, registers, databases)
• financial losses, indirect damage or consequential damage
• decisions made by the customer or the consequences of those decisions

My experience or expertise does not transfer responsibility for the vehicle’s condition, functionality or commercial outcome to me.

7. No guarantee

I do not provide a guarantee for:

• the vehicle’s condition or service life
• future maintenance or repair costs
• the vehicle’s resale value
• the development of market price or demand

All vehicles may develop faults during use, even if they are assessed as sensible or in good condition at the time of purchase.

8. Payments and refunds

A completed or started service is non-refundable, even if the customer:

• decides not to buy the vehicle
• changes their mind after the consultation
• is not satisfied with the commercial outcome

9. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms of Use are governed by Finnish law.

Any disagreements will primarily be resolved through negotiation. If a settlement cannot be reached, the matter will be handled by a competent Finnish court.

10. Acceptance of the terms

By booking or using my services, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms of Use.
